Mechanism of Action
Fluralaner is a systemic insecticide and acaricide of the isoxazoline class. It inhibits gammaaminobutyric acid-gated chloride channels and Lglutamate-gated chloride channels in arthropods, leading to uncontrolled nerve activity and death of fleas and ticks. Fleas and ticks must attach to the host and commence feeding to be exposed to the active substance.
Drug Interactions
No clinically significant drug interactions have been identified
Concomitant use with other isoxazoline class parasiticides may increase the risk of neurological
adverse reactions

Mechanism of Action
Fluralaner is a systemic insecticide and acaricide of the isoxazoline class. It inhibits gamma-aminobutyric
acid-gated chloride channels and L-glutamate-gated chloride channels in arthropods, leading to
uncontrolled nerve activity and death of parasites. The product is absorbed via the gastrointestinal tract
after oral administration and distributes systemically to reach parasites feeding on the host.
Adverse Reactions
In rare cases:
Temporary decrease in water consumption (due to taste)
Mild gastrointestinal upset (diarrhea)
Most reactions are mild and self-limiting
Precautions
1.This is a veterinary prescription drug and must be used under veterinary supervision

4.Avoid squeezing the container while pouring from the dosing chamber
Mechanism of Action
Fluralaner belongs to the class of isoxazoline-substituted benzamide derivatives. It inhibits the arthropod
nervous system by antagonizing ligand-gated chloride channels (GABA-receptor and glutamate-receptor), leading to uncontrolled nerve activity and death of parasites.
