Actions & Indications:
For the treatment of naturally occurring feline infectious peritonitis in cats, including:
Effusive (wet) FIP
Non-effusive (dry) FIP
FIP with ocular or neurological involvement (dose adjustment may be required)

Dosage:

4.0 mg/kg body weight, once every 24 hours, by subcutaneous injection

Administration Instructions:
Tablets may be swallowed whole or crushed and mixed with a small amount of food. Administration with food is recommended to enhance absorption stability.

Treatment Response:
According to clinical studies (Pedersen et al., 2019):
Body temperature returns to normal within 12–36 hours in most cats
Appetite, activity level, and body weight improve significantly within 1–2 weeks
Abdominal or thoracic effusion resolves gradually within 1–2 weeks
Serum albumin and A/G ratio normalize within 8–10 weeks
Over 80% of cats completing 12 weeks or more of treatment achieve long-term

Adverse Reactions:
Injection Site Reactions
Mild gastrointestinal upset (vomiting, decreased appetite) may occur in rare cases, typically transient

Adverse Reactions:
Mild elevations in BUN and SDMA observed in rare cases, reversible upon discontinuation
No persistent abnormalities in liver/kidney function or complete blood count
No observable effects on permanent tooth development in kittens

Precautions:
1.This is a prescription drug and must be used under veterinary supervision
2.Regular monitoring of body weight, serum albumin, A/G ratio, and complete blood count is recommended during treatment
3.For cats with ocular or neurological signs, individualized treatment plans should be developed under specialist supervision
4.The injectable solution has a low pH (approximately 1.5) and may cause transient pain upon injection; rotation of injection sites is recommended
5.Not recommended for use in pregnant or lactating cats due to insufficient safety data

Discontinuation:
After treatment completion, observation for at least 3 months is recommended. Veterinary re-evaluation is advised if any of the following occur:
Weight loss
Fever
Decreased appetite
Lethargy
Abdominal distension or dyspnea
