Product Name: Fluralaner Solution
Indication: For the treatment and control of parasitic infestations in production animals.
Treatment and control of red mite (Dermanyssus gallinae) infestations
Treatment and control of northern fowl mite (Ornithonyssus sylviarum)
Treatment of scaly leg mite (Knemidocoptes mutans)
Treatment and control of lice
Treatment of ear mites
Dosage:
Administration via drinking water:
0.05 mL/kg body weight (equivalent to 0.5 mg fluralaner/kg
body weight).
Administer once every 7 days for a total of 2 doses.Daily dosage calculation (mL/day):
Total estimated body weight of the animal (kg) × 0.05 mL/kg.
Example: 1 L of this product can treat with a total body weight
of 20,000 kg
Administration Instructions
1.Prepare fresh medicated drinking water daily
2.Ensure all animals have access to medicated water for the entire treatment period
3.Do not provide unmedicated water during treatment days
4.Clean water lines before and after treatment
5.Treat for 2 consecutive days; repeat after 3-4 weeks if necessary
Mechanism of Action
Fluralaner is a systemic insecticide and acaricide of the isoxazoline class. It inhibits gamma-aminobutyric
acid-gated chloride channels and L-glutamate-gated chloride channels in arthropods, leading to
uncontrolled nerve activity and death of parasites. The product is absorbed via the gastrointestinal tract
after oral administration and distributes systemically to reach parasites feeding on the host.
Adverse Reactions
In rare cases:
Temporary decrease in water consumption (due to taste)
Mild gastrointestinal upset (diarrhea)
Most reactions are mild and self-limiting
Precautions
1.This is a veterinary prescription drug and must be used under veterinary supervision
2.Do not use in animals intended for human consumption within the withdrawal period
3.Observe the specified withdrawal period before slaughter
4.Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to isoxazoline compounds
5.Avoid contamination of feed and water sources
6.Wear protective gloves when handling the concentrated solution
7.Keep out of reach of children
Environmental Precautions
Do not contaminate ponds, waterways, or ditches with the product or used containers
Dispose of empty containers according to local regulations
This product is toxic to aquatic organisms
