Mechanism of Action
Fluralaner is a systemic insecticide and acaricide of the isoxazoline class. It inhibits gammaaminobutyric acid-gated chloride channels and Lglutamate-gated chloride channels in arthropods, leading to uncontrolled nerve activity and death of fleas and ticks. Fleas and ticks must attach to the host and commence feeding to be exposed to the active substance.
Drug Interactions
No clinically significant drug interactions have been identified
Concomitant use with other isoxazoline class parasiticides may increase the risk of neurological
adverse reactions
